About the Deputy Nursery Manager role
We are looking for a Deputy Manager who is ambitious and passionate about the care and education of children. The Deputy Manager will support and join our current team of experienced educators and teachers to achieve best outcomes for our children.
Duties and responsibilities:

Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children
Support the manager and work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all children are safe and can play, develop and learn to the best of their ability
Safeguard all children and deputise as Designated Safeguarding Lead for the nursery manager when absent
Build and maintain strong partnerships working with parents to enable children’s needs to be met
Support the manager in meeting all statutory requirements eg. EYFS curriculum, Ofsted, welfare requirements etc
Fully deputise for the nursery manager in their absence

Experience and Skills of the Deputy Nursery Manager:
At least two years experience with responsibility
A relevant and recognised early years qualification
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
Honesty and integrity
Full drivers licence and transport
Experience working in partnership with parents/carers and external professionals
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Willingness to learn and continue with professional development
