As the Yard Manager, your daily responsibilities will be centred around overseeing the bustling yard and leading a team of yard operatives to achieve targets and ensure customer satisfaction at our local service centre.

Key Responsibilities of the Yard Manager include:

• Daily supervision of workshop and yard staff.
• Organization of returns, repairs, and stock management in the yard.
• Monitoring off-hired equipment, recording repairs and damages within company guidelines.
• Coordination of vehicle movements within the yard.
• Maintenance of a tidy yard, ensuring equipment is appropriately stored in designated areas.
• Compliance with Health and Safety standards and enforcement of relevant procedures.
• Ensuring equipment is repaired and maintained following manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Conducting regular stock checks to ensure accuracy in equipment counts.
• Coordination and management of the yard during regular stock takes.
