We have been providing industry-leading equipment, alongside highly skilled and friendly staff, to the events industry for over twenty-five years. Based in Edinburgh, we supply to events across the UK and beyond.
We are now seeking a dual role technician at our base in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities of the Technician role
Servicing and preparing lighting, heating and power distribution equipment
On site installation/commissioning and post-hire removal
Accurately picking, preparing and returning orders
Testing and maintenance of equipment
Completing relevant documentation
Maintaining the cleanliness and working order of the department and vehicles
Complying with all of Tower Productions Health & Safety policies, Company Procedures and Standards
Representing the company in a positive manner always
Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by Management
Skills and Experience of the Technician role
Required
Electrical experience – ideally BS7909 accreditation
Full UK Driving Licence, with ability to drive vehicles & tow up to 3.5t
Provide own tools
Work away for limited, infrequent periods
Ability to work alone, as well as being a team player
Strong communication
Polite, friendly and approachable by colleagues and clients
Flexible and willing to learn
Good spoken and written English
Advantageous
Forklift Licence – training provided if necessary
Experience with lighting, heating and power distribution equipment
Work at Height experience
Other information
The role is Full Time, contracted to 40 hours per week
Normal working hours are 08:30am – 17:30pm, Monday to Friday. However, the role does require flexible and unsociable working hours.
