We are now looking for a full time, fully experienced H&S Manager to manage the HSEQ requirements and complement the existing Management Team

The Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Manager role
We’re looking for a Construction Based Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Manager. We are seeking a driven and passionate person who wants to feel truly valued and find their vocation in work life.
You will work within an experienced and friendly team comprising: Contracts Managers, Site Managers and Site Operatives, as well as Commercial personnel and Consultants. Reporting to the directors/ senior management, you will manage the ISO and help implement changes and improvements when and where required.
Main Duties:
Implementing and leading effective Company and Client health and safety programmes, whilst creating an atmosphere of a proactive safety culture.
This position works in conjunction with designated management staff using knowledge of industry and/or professional guidelines and protocols to accomplish goals and objectives and solve problems of moderate scope.
Responsible for providing competent advice to the company regarding HSEQ legal compliance and guidance.
Undertake internal site inspections and audits; Facilitate external audits and accreditations; Ensure compliance with legislation.
Design and implement HSEQ culture throughout the company.
Deliver company entries into external H&S awards.
Assist in producing tender stage methodology and safe systems of work documents.
Prepare project construction, and environmental management plans.
Manage training needs of company staff.
Implement and audit quality procedures and systems (ISO).
Drive improvements in the organisation’s safety culture
Maintain existing ISO 9001 and help to achieve ISO 45001 / 14001.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills of the HSEQ Manager role
You must have at least three years’ experience within a similar role, with a knowledge of construction.
Full UK Driving License
NVQ 6 or higher (preferred)

NEBOSH Certification
First Aid Certificate
You are punctual, reliable and hard working, with the ability to adhere to strict time lines
