The Finance Manager / Senior Accountant role

This is an exciting role for a qualified accountant to join a small and dynamic team building a commercial real estate business with a difference – based on our values of  flexibility, transparency, innovation and environmental & social consciousness, we strive to create welcoming, collaborative and environmentally efficient work spaces for our Customers.

The role will encompass the following duties;  

• Monthly & quarterly customer rent and service charge invoicing & dealing with customer  queries;  
• Calculation & recharging of additional services to customers where applicable; 3. Credit control;  
• Processing of supplier invoices & dealing with general queries; 
• Posting, coding and reconciliation of all transactions on Xero;  
• Assistance with annual Service charge budget preparation & reconciliation of past year  accounts;  
• Assistance with company budget vs actual cashflow monitoring;  
• Preparation & submission of quarterly VAT returns 
• Working closely with the Directors on cashflow modelling when necessary;  10. Regular liaison with external company accountants;  
• Assistance in preparation of Company KPIs and Monthly Management Accounts to track  progress;  
• Project Cost Tracking – monitoring budget vs actual spend on refurbishment & capex  projects  

Skills and Experience of our Finance Manager / Senior Accountant

Prior experience in real estate is not necessary; we are seeking an experienced but entrepreneurially minded individual who is keen to get involved with all aspects of the business, is a solutions based thinker and passionate about the local areas which we serve.
