The Finance Manage Role

We are looking for a full time finance manager to work across the group of companies giving the chosen candidate a very much varied work life with plenty of experiences across the property industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero accounting software.
• Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, Prepare and submit VAT returns and CIS returns
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Assist with year-end audits and tax preparations.

Qualifications of the Finance Manager 

• Proven experience as a finance manager or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using Xero accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Note: Experience with other accounting software may be considered.
