Finance Assistant – Broxburn

Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 + benefits (see below)

Job Introduction

C-Plan Telecommunications are currently restructuring to meet demands of increased work orders. To support us with our new structure, we’re recruiting for a Finance Assistant to support our Finance team.

This position is office-based within Broxburn, working on a permanent contract for 40 hours per week. The starting salary for this role is £27k-£29k. Dates and times to be agreed.

Finance Assistant Role Responsibility

• Providing Payroll administration support to the finance team
• Inputting PAYE information into Sage Payroll and Updating CIS information on Excel files
• Dealing with incoming calls and escalating where necessary
• Accurate data entry and intermediate Excel Skills are essential
• Sales Ledger experience. Raising customer invoices

The Ideal Candidate

• Will have previous payroll experience, ideally within a payroll function
• Being an advocate for great customer service
• Accurately undertaking tasks within short time frames
• Maintaining confidentiality at all times whilst complying with GDPR
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good level of computer literacy – Sage Accounts and Payroll, Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience would be beneficial
• Ability to work proactively and with minimal supervision.
