Starting salary (for 6 month probationary period) @ £26,000

About the Field Service Engineer role
We are looking for a committed Field Service Engineer to join our team at R A Medical Services Ltd, based in Steeton, West Yorkshire. This role is suited for a motivated individual who is eager to provide excellent service in the healthcare industry, with a focus on maintaining and repairing sedation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to various healthcare facilities such as hospitals, health centres, and dental surgeries for maintenance and repair tasks.
Periodic work away from home base for typically 2-5 days per week: Monday to Friday.
Conduct services in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Attend training sessions to remain up-to-date with technological advancements and service techniques.
Efficiently use company-provided equipment including tooling and test equipment, vehicle, and mobile phone for professional duties.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a capacity for problem solving whilst on customer premises.
Requirements of the Field Service Engineer
Previous experience as a service engineer, whilst desirable, is not completely necessary as robust training will be offered.
The successful candidate will be required to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel, ideally residing within 10 miles of BD20 6SD, Steeton, West Yorkshire.
No criminal record due to working in a medical environment
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
There will be a 6-month probationary period with training following a prescribed training regime and undertaken by our engineering team.
Work Environment
Job involves travelling to different healthcare premises in and around the UK and Ireland
No weekend work, ensuring work-life balance.
