eCommerce Manager – Cirencester

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, eCommerce professional who has a proven track record of revenue generation through managing the conversion event tactics via direct and marketplace channels. 

 

Role & Responsibilities of our eCommerce Manager

Driving sales performance to target growth across multiple eCommerce channels, including our established routes to market in:

  • Amazon UK
  • Amazon EU
  • Three segment specific owned channel, direct eCommerce sites
  • eBay
  • B&Q

As well as scouting for opportunities in other online retail outlets, creating feasibility studies for presentation to the wider business to justify opening a presence in new markets and territories.

 

Spotting the opportunity for and collaborating with your eCommerce team to execute upon eCommerce/digital sales initiatives, including but not limited to:

  • Forecasting, data analysis, sales analytics, ROI and volume planning.
  • UX enhancements to streamline the sales process.
  • Upsell / Cross sell opportunities via UX on owned channels.
  • Automated CRM journeys for owned channel customers to maximise the revenue vs CPA per sale.
  • PPC campaigns.
  • SEO enhancements, and tactical digital promotions.

 

Contributing towards the development of, and implementation of the strategic business plan. Including market opportunity, historic data analysis, trend spotting, competitor benchmarking and overseeing the ongoing observation of market position vs competitors to ensure competitive edge is maintained.

Close collaboration with the in-house Marketing Manager and marketing team for the creation of brand led materials to service your overall eCommerce objectives, promotional campaigns, content strategy and production, and relevant merchandising imagery.

As well as collaboration with other internal departments, such as customer services, supply chain and logistics, finance, and project management to maintain our culture of knowledge sharing and visibility to meet the needs of one another, and the overall goals of the business.

 

Requirements of our eCommerce Manager

  • Extensive knowledge of eCommerce channels, technology, practices, and data management
  • Experience of managing teams and developing people
  • Experience of owning eCommerce sales and margin targets and delivering against them to achieve profitable growth to plan.
  • Proven track record of strong business judgement, decision making skills and ability to identify, prioritise, articulate, and oversee high impact initiatives.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, experience in interpreting and reporting on results with valuable insight and actionable conclusions.
  • Proven leadership of eCommerce projects, strategies, and teams.
