Fire Sprinkler Repairs Engineer – North West

Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 (dependent upon experience) plus benefits (see below)

Our Service & Maintenance team is growing! We are seeking to recruit an experienced Fire Sprinkler Repairs Engineer to join our team ideally located in the North West. What we can offer you:

  • Rate £27,000 – £35,000 (dependent upon experience)
  • Hours – 42.5 per week (9 hours Monday – Thursday 6.5 on Fridays)

Main Role of the Fire Sprinkler Repairs Engineer (not limited to):

  • Weekly Routine Testing of Wet & Dry & Alternate Type Systems
  • Installation Flow Testing & Fire Pump Flow Testing
  • Pre-Checks of Foam Enhanced Systems and perform safe isolation and reinstatement.
  • Install/replace valve stations and manifold, install/replace sprinkler mains (large diameter and small)
  • Have a good awareness of health and safety.

The Ideal Skills of the Fire Sprinkler Repairs Engineer: 

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail and ability to apply analytical thinking in problem solving.
  • Experience of working within a customer facing role, and able to build strong customer relationships.
  • Able to work under pressure and to a high standard.
  • Excellent communication/customer facing skills.
  • Disciplined and organised.
  • Able to work on own initiative, unsupervised, but also contribute to an effective team.
  • Full driving licence (min 12 months driving experience).
