I have recently graduated with distinction with a Master’s of Science degree in Energy Engineering obtained from the University of Hull. From my home country, Lebanon, I have obtained a Bachelor and Masters Degrees of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Professionally, I have 8+ years of experience in the power and controllers domain. Throughout my professional career, I have gained extensive experience in technical support, project management, and cost analysis. Throughout my eight years in my role as a Senior Technical Support Engineer at Jabbour Datakom Sarl in Beirut I was responsible for providing on-site and remote support, conducting product training, preparing technical and commercial offers, and coordinating with suppliers, among other tasks. I developed excellent troubleshooting skills, a strong understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences. My main role and responsibility was commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting gen-set control systems based on ComAp products; throughout which I demonstrated proficiency in technical skills, troubleshooting, and product knowledge.
At Sakr Power Generation Group, Nigeria and Lebanon offices, I have worked for around two years as a technical specialist, with my main role preparing technical/commercial offers and estimating cost for projects (governmental and private tenders).
My work experience, has been mainly focused on diesel fueled power generation. Throughout my Energy Engineering studies at the University of Hull, I have gained a strong theoretical and technical knowledge and a keen interest in sustainable energy.
As for interpersonal qualifications, I am a fast learner who is comfortable in high-paced, ever-changing environments, and I am adept at identifying and solving problems effectively. I am enthusiastic about acquiring knowledge in different areas. I am confident that my analytical skills, attention to detail, and technical background make me a suitable candidate for this role.
